The Buoc (Step) container is a utensil and condiments holder designed to be placed by the window in the Vietnamese reunification train dining car. Its goal is to declutter the tabletops found in their dining cars, reducing distractions and refocusing diners' attention to the world outside the window. The setup is completely modular and can be readjusted according to the needs and practices of the people. A gold and dark wood finish was chosen to compliment the French colonial design that made up the interior of the train dining cars.
