Cord is a data-driven approach to managing food purchases to help homeowners save money and time, reducing food waste in the process. It aims to use purchasing and consumption data to predict users' consumption and spot abnormal spending behavior, prompting the user to not buy excessively. Users will be able to receive timely food expiry alerts when logging their purchases with NFC from their smartphones. One of the biggest features is the capability to generate a suggested shopping list for the user, by analysing purchase data and predicting foods the user will need next.
