Shoji buttons are a set of buttons designed with affordance in mind, inspired by shoji lamps in Japanese architecture. Using a play of negative spaces, chromatic effects are created when the buttons are interacted with using the moire effect to create these illusions. Dents and bumps on the smooth surface lead the user to the right interaction according to the button they interacted with.
